  34. Night Harvest Cabernet Sauvignon (looooved this one)
  35. Xplorador Cabernet Sauvignon
  36. Cousiño-Macul Merlot (blech, hated this one. Never have I poured a half-finished bottle of wine down the sink before)
  37. Blue Fish Sweet Riesling (seemed the same as most rieslings, so I liked)
  38. Van Gogh Acai-Blueberry Vodka (blueberry martini at Stonewood Tavern in Ormond Beach)
  39. Franz Reinhart Riesling (didn’t care for, too acidic)
  40. Blue Nun Riesling (better than Franz Reinhart but not better than my fave, Schmitt Söhne)
  41. Yellow Tail Riesling (somewhere between the Franz Reinhart and the Blue Nun)
  42. Aveleda Fonte Vinho Verde 2009 (loved this)
  43. Paso Robles Two Doves 2010 Moscato (way too sweet)
  44. Sofia Riesling (perfect balance between sweet and dry for a riesling; paying a little extra pays off!)
  45. Miolo Family Pinot Noir (liked this a lot, good dinner wine)
  46. Tanqueray Rangpur Gin (love this, just a little lighter than regular gin, perfect for summer cocktails)
  47. Little Penguin Pinot Grigio (light and refreshing, perfect balance between sweet and dry)
  48. Domaine de Canton Ginger Liqueur (Lemon Ginger Mojito at Bahama Breeze)
  49. Red Bicyclette Pinot Noir (very nice, I’m learning that I love Pinot Noirs)
  50. Lychee liquor (Lotus Lychee martini at Nectar)

We went to Total Wine and they helped me choose several wines to taste test for our wedding. These were the winners (aka I loved them):

  1. Evodia Grenache – My #1 favorite. So smooth and easy to drink and just delicious. Of course they were out of stock when we went back to actually buy it in bulk. They recommended another Grenache (Fabla Calatayud Old Vines Grenache). In my opinion the Evodia was much better, but I wouldn’t complain about drinking the Old Vines again either.
  2. Vignal Pinot Grigio Fruili
  3. Doulce France Vouvray
  4. Rivata Prosecco

I also recently had a very good wine at a friend’s house called Evans & Tate Split River Cabernet Sauvignon (2010). So good that I took a picture of the bottle so I could try and find it the next time I went wine shopping. With the leftover wine from the wedding to drink, that hasn’t happened yet…
